Danny put up a post about death. The Private Man had a brush with cancer. There are thousands of Men wrestling with health, personal, financial, relationship crisis right now. Men struggle - yet we have to be "strong" and "man up" - never letting our guard down for even a second.
I'm not going to tell you it's fair, it's just the reality we live as Men. It's easy to be Men when times are going good, when you just killed that Mastodon, when the cupboards are full. That's the easy part. And I will be the first to tell you -- celebrate your victories, every fucking one of them. It's sorta like getting laid, you never know if it's ever going to happen again. Fuck like it's your last time - Celebrate your wins just in case you don't have another one.
Regardless of how you feel about Nickleback, the following could become and anthem for your life. It's your choice.
My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride
Eyes front Gentlemen. Live, Learn, Lead.
